Hank has been known to keep the show
interesting with his endless trivia and odd
knowledge. He also plays the dobro and
harmonica and lends his bass vocals when
necessary. When he is not playing music
he is either driving tractor for the Forest
Service, shearing sheep, or serving his
country in the Army Reserves.

Molly has become the top female mandolinist in the
Idaho panhandle and one of the finest pickers
around. She also writes songs and does most of
the lead singing in the band. Molly began learning
the mandolin at the age of 10 because it was small
and not nearly as heavy as the banjo (her first
choice).

At the naïve age of 3 Austin wanted to play
the drums but that interest soon turned to
the banjo when he saw his grandpa play an
old 4-string. Austin is an award winning
banjo player having been voted “Best Banjo
Player of 2008” by the Inland Northwest
Bluegrass Association. He has performed
and recorded with many regional bands and
now teaches banjo at North Idaho College.
Bonnie (Little) Campbell - Guitar

Bonnie has been Austin’s twin sister for as long as
anyone can remember. Luckily she doesn’t look like
him. After saving her money she bought her first
guitar at the age of 11 with the ambition of playing
it “like grandpa” and in 2008 she placed in the “Red,
White & Bluegrass Festival” guitar flatpicking
contest. She keeps a solid rhythm driving the band
through blazing bluegrass tunes and picking some
mean licks on the ol’ flat top.
Jenny had played flute, viola, piano, guitar,
and cello but when the Panhandle Polecats
was formed a bass was needed so she
added standup bass to her instrumental
repertoire. She has since become an
accomplished bassist, in demand at
recording sessions and live performances,
but the real highlight is her voice which has
been described as “pristine” and “angelic”.

The Panhandle Polecats are the alter ego of the Littles,
a mild-mannered family from the north Idaho
panhandle, who broke out on the bluegrass scene in
2003. These three sisters and two brothers have
traveled throughout the Northwest performing
everywhere from cow pastures, barns, garages, and
parking lots, to radio and television studios, bluegrass
festivals, colleges, churches, and dances, earning a
reputation for good music with a high energy,
entertaining show. With Jenny Little on
standup bass, Hank Little on Dobro and harmonica,
Molly Wilbur on mandolin, Austin Little on banjo, and
Bonnie Campbell on guitar, The Panhandle Polecats’
sound is deeply rooted in the classic bluegrass
sounds of Flatt & Scruggs, Bill Monroe, the Dillards
and others. They write many of their own songs and
to date have recorded three albums. In every note
they play it is obvious that these siblings love to make
music even more than they love to fight with each
other.
